Bass Guitar Mixing
In this video I show a mixing technique that can be used to integrate a bass well into the mix, without being drowned out by other instruments.
Basically, this technique is divided into four steps: 1. Technical Equing, 2. Compression, 3. Color Equing, 4. Saturation
The order may vary depending on the sound, and not all operations will always be necessary.
This isn't a "mojo, magic trick, vodoo" thing. It’s Just a simple way to get good results. Often less is more ;)
